66 Mar 22 Comment Emil, is there any better place than an old cemetery on a cloudy day to take IR photographs? I like your processing of the original, especially the decision to flip the horizontal. In the flipped version you allowed the sky to play a stronger role in the composition. As they say, "high marks" Mar 23rd
66 Mar 22 Comment Gary, you took a risk brightening the central parts of this image and decreasing the contrast with the carriage, but that was a master stroke. The original image is pleasant, but your finished image is fasinating. Mar 23rd
66 Mar 22 Comment Jack, the wispy clouds and emptiness of the distant desert adds to the graceful solitude of this image. I like what Gary did to increase contrast, but wonder if simply using the dodge tool at low setting to bring out the white at the crests of the montains would attain the same effect but without darkening the sky. 66 Mar 22 Comment Arik, the way you shot this image of trees is very interesting. It is as though you light painted the front-most tree. The dark sky adds to the contrast and drama. The crop focused attention better than did the original. Thank you for sharing this and reminding us how splendid naked trees are as a subject of IR. Mar 23rd
66 Mar 22 Comment Melanie, for someone who was cloistered during the pandemic, you have now released yourself from bondage. There's no better place to feel your freedom than a place like Monument Valley. I like the texture and details in the image, it renders a sense of being there. The 33mm lens gives us a grand landscape perscpective befitting of this sacred place. Thank you for sharing it. Mar 23rd
66 Mar 22 Comment Palli, I like your use of the boardwalk as a leading line. The posture of the figure with a water bottle in her hand in the distance adds to the tone of this peaceful image. Cropping it to fit a landscape format was a good compositional choice. Mar 23rd

88 Mar 22 Comment Trey, this is a masterful image that captures the peace and elegance of winter. The warm sunset contrasts both in color and feeling with the cool stillness of the land. Add the pond, ducks & geese and you've created a classic work of art. Mar 23rd
