Emil, normally docks are cluttered with boats and the miscellaneous property of their owners. You captured a dock without humans and their stuff. It is an elegant, clean image that conveys a message we've experienced far too much during this pandemic. |

Palli, what you did to bring out the string is masterful. For my eye the rays of string is the subject of this intriguing image. I like Gary's suggestion. It is an additional way to focus attention on the string rays. |

Gary, this is the kind of subject matter I too am attracted to. Chaos is fetching. We have several large junk yards in my area, but unfortunately lawyers have told the owners to not allow photographers on their properties. I like your choice of car and the fact that you did not eliminate the random steering wheel on its hood. |

Jack, what a very pleasing abstraction. I agree, the stream is a distraction as are the poles. I also agree with suggestions made by others to rebalance the whites and blacks to push the dynamic range a notch or two. |

Arik, I like curved lines too. Paths and rows are attractive compositional elements. Often with IR we take photographs of dilapidated barns and farm houses; however, this is a refreshing look at a healthy farm in the middle of a lovely day. It is a comforting image. |

Melanie, you did a lot to render an interesting complex image that conveys a spooky, nearly evil feeling. For me the subject of this photograph is the takeover of the store by the wild weeds and foliage, so, tweaks that draw attention to the store work against this rendition. I wonder if the image has become harder to work with because of the cloudy day and that morning or afternoon light might have reduced your work? |

For my eye, there are a lot of lovely things to see and compositional elements to appreciate in this image. If you are interested in making it less complex, you might consider, a different way to crop it and perhaps eliminate some features, e.g., the house on the hillside? |

Rich, you took this image at the right time of day to give it a nearly 3D feeling. I like what you did with sky bringing out the blue that pleasantly contrasts with the bald, tan hills. This is what these hills should look like. It is unfortunate that they are also vulnerable to wild fires. |

Trey, while fog usually helps to define the subject of an image, it can be tricky to work with. The AF focus systems in cameras can be "confused", the colors can become too muted, and the sense of depth flattened. However, you defeated these challenges to give us a very pleasing image. |

Fantastic composition! I like the elements you put together: the statue, the flag, Washington monument and fireworks burst. You earn high marks, as well, for balancing the light requirements for each of these elements. Nicely done! |

John, I am so glad you are entertained. Sometimes our seriousness drains the fun out of photography. I have always admired the humorous images of Elliot Erwitt: https://www.magnumphotos.com/photographer/elliott-erwitt/ |

I wonder Gary that is "landscape" is any sort of scape at all. Perhaps it is a cityscape? |

Creativity takes courage and vision. Not many photographers would have abstracted your final image from the original. Blending in the pink and orange hues is so pleasing. I especially like the touch of emphasizing the tiny light in the top left quadrant of the image. |

John, Ansel Adams would be pleased with your image. Although photographed my many times, your composition is fresh. I like the way you used the stream to guide the eye and reflect the golden green hues in the trees. Top marks! |
