I think this is a great image, though I have to agree with Michael, when I first saw it, I did think the falls were about 3-4 feet high. Partially that was because I had the very top of the image (about the top inch) cut off in my view when I first saw it and that forced perspective kind of locked that view in my mind. When I read your description and the comments and then examined the image more closely I saw the falls were actually much taller than my initial impression. |

Wow! That's a beautiful image and definitely show-worthy! The mountain with the shadows playing on it is gorgeous. The water is smooth enough to capture a great reflection of the mountain and the color of the water really compliments the entire scene. The clouds in the sky add a lot of interest as well. Great job, I think its a winner! |

Great image, Larry! The falls are silky smooth and the color tone is magnificent. I really like the submerged leaves in the foreground. They do create a leading line to the falls as you intended. They really make the picture in my opinion! |

Great fall color and quite a story. The sky looks great. I do agree with the others about the light rock on the right. You could tone it down or crop it out and have the falls off center. You could also try smoothing the water out with a motion blur filter, if you like the smooth water effect. Alternatively, you could crop up from the bottom and show mostly the falls and fall color. |
