36 Jan 25 Comment Yeah, a blown out portion of the sky can be vexing. I would clone it out and do the same with the water reflection. Fooling around with the opacity can make it look convincing. Jan 23rd
36 Jan 25 Comment This is a really compelling image. I like the shorter shutter speed, it makes the water a lot more dramatic. My only issue is that the center of the image seems a little soft, like it is slightly out of focus. Jan 23rd
36 Jan 25 Comment I really like the leading line the road creates toward the basilica. The buildings on either side of the road enhance this. The colors and the sky add interest to the image. On first viewing I did not notice distractions Larry mentioned, although I do think his crop is a little stronger than the original, there is some loss of detail, probably due to the small file sizes. I would not do the crop if the loss of detail is that high using the original files. Jan 23rd
36 Jan 25 Comment That is really an interesting image, I saw the bird's reflection in the water and had to search a bit to find it. It certainly engages the viewer! Jan 23rd
36 Jan 25 Comment That's just a wonderful image, the moody sky, the mist on the water and the fall colors reflecting in the water. Jan 23rd
