I actually did but just the areas that were out of square from the rotation. It does work pretty well and I will probably do that to improve the image. |

I think I like the mono version better because you can see the sign on the back of the chair. I agree with Larry. There is also a lot of negative space in the image because of the deep shadows in the hills. I'm not sure you can do anything about that though. It was a long exposure and it does not look like there is any detail in the shadows to recover, although you could try. |

Yeah, I did add a gaussian blur and did some darkening of the building. I guess it could use a bit more. |

Yeah, when I took it I was limited by some bushes that were behind me. I don't remember for sure, but I think there was a structure or something to the left that I didn't want in frame. I do wish I had left some more room there when I took it. |

That's a really great image! I love the lighting and the way the clouds are moving across the top of the peak. It's a beautiful job! |

The B/W treatment really gives this image an "old time" feeling as well as the way you burned in the details. To me the image looks a little soft, particularly the structure, which seems to be the subject. It does contribute to the "old time" feeling but I'm not sure if that was your intent. |

That's a great achievement, visiting all 50 states! I really like the color palette of the image and the wide format. I took a cruise that visited Glacier Bay in 2008, and it was quite an experience. |

Those clouds are the whole image! The foreground is great because it does not distract. You can definitely see the dust in the clouds. |

That's a beautiful image, Barbara! I love the color and vertical rays. How far north are you located? The only time I ever saw an aurora was in Lake George, NY in the 1970s. |
