Group Round C/R Comment Date Image
36 Jun 24 Comment I like the composition and the falls, but I agree with the others that the color balance appears to be off, with too much green. I would definitely tone that down. I would also decrease the brightness/exposure on the top part of the picture as well, maybe use a gradient mask on a exposure or brightness adjustment layer. Jun 26th
36 Jun 24 Comment What a wonderful sunset! I like the motion the 30 sec exposure imparts to the sky, it almost looks like the clouds are racing by. The river catches the hues of the sky as well. I like the way you opened up the shadows in the foreground, it adds to the image. BTW, I noticed the others saying you added magenta to the clouds, did you actually do that or was that just a side effect of opening up the exposure for the sky? Jun 26th
36 Jun 24 Comment I really like the composition of this image, it really captures the power of the falls. The angle of the bridge does not bother me, I think it adds to the feeling of the power of the falling water. The only thing I don't like is the white sky, and you could crop some of it out, but you don't want to do too much or you will loose some of the falls on the left. Maybe a sky replacement would be in order? Jun 26th
36 Jun 24 Comment This is a really compelling image. I love the color of the homes contrasting with the shoreline, water and pastels of the sky. Were you in a boat or just standing in the water? Jun 26th
36 Jun 24 Comment There is a lot to like about this image. I love way the sky pops and its reflection in the water. The building has interesting lighting and is nice and sharp. I actually like the positioning of the building. However, I agree with you Larry, there is something about this image that looks fake, maybe over processed, and its not just the reflection in the water. There is something over the background trees that looks like an aura, although it could well be mist. The whole thing looks a little to contrasty and perhaps oversaturated. It could just be an artifact of reducing the size for the group or to much jpeg compression, I've had that happen a few times. I think it could be fixed with some experimentation, and it would then be an exceptional image. Jun 26th
36 Jun 24 Comment That's a really beautiful image, Barbara. I love the muted colors and the long exposure gives the image an almost dreamlike feel. Jun 26th
