I really like the mood the fog creates in this image. My eye is drawn to the center by the bright grass and flowers which acts as a leading line deeper into the forest. I wouldn't change a thing. |

To me this image practically screams 'winter'. I really like the moody feel of it. I like that the foreground water almost appears out of focus, where the mountain and sky are tack sharp. I though it was a depth of field effect, but looking at your shutter speed, its probably just a little motion blur. It is a really interesting effect that draws your eye to the mountain. I didn't really notice the dark cloud near the mountain either until I read the comments. I would probably do what Michael suggested about brightening the mountain top. |

Yeah it shame you didn't bet a better sunrise, but when traveling you have to deal with the hand you are give. This is still a nice image. The location is beautiful and sunrise does make the colors quite pleasing. |

That's a great image, Larry! I'm sure the church will be pleased. I really like the clouds in the image, I think that actually made it more interesting than if it had been taken on a clear night. I like that you can see some detail in the statue, that's impressive since the moon is directly behind it and quite bright. It sounds like it was quite a lot of preparation and the results paid off. BTW, you have a 600mm prime! Wow! I bet that wasn't cheap. |

I love the sky and the couple really makes this image. I agree with the others the want to crop the sky. I might even go further with a 16:9 crop, which would really bring out the couple. |
