Yeah, I like the glow if the building too. It's pretty cool! I actually do believe that the sky was already darkened. I can also see if you darken too much the spire detail would be lost against the sky. Maybe try with a gradient mask on just the sky? It is really hard to balance out the sky with the rest of the image. |

Yeah, I was wondering about that. It's in an unfortunate place, I didn't crop it out because it removes to much of the image. I was debating doing a replacement, but that's a pretty big chunk to do that with, and in the past has not worked well. I may still do that. |

This is a really interesting shot of the Golden Gate at night, and one I would personally like to get. I love the reflections on the beach. One thing that stands out to me is the picture is still pretty noisy, despite using noise reduction. I see a lot of noise in the sky and the water and the dark areas of the background. This is surprising to me, because the camera you used is really new and should have good low light performance. Also the exposure was pretty long, so I would not expect so much noise. I can actually see a couple of star trails starting to form. I'm not sure what the answer is here. Maybe pushing the ISO higher or exposure/ISO stacking or HDR either in camera or in post processing. |

That's a lovely image, I love the composition and river. I do agree with the Larry about the sky. I can see from the original that it is pretty blown out, so it is hard to get detail out of it. Rather than cropping you could try just darkening the sky a bit with a brightness/contrast adjustment layer, so your eye is not drawn to it as much. |

I like the image, although I thought the flowing water was snow until I read them comments. I agree that a faster shutter speed would have been better to pick up the detail of the flowing water, but the effect is quite enchanting.

That's a great architectural image! B&W treatment is definitely the right call. I was thinking it actually was the Walt Disney Concert Hall, since I live an hour outside of LA and have driven by it quite often. It's interesting its the same architect. |

This image really works. The subject is nice and sharp and the gold tone adds a lot of interest. If it were my image, I might darken the sky a little, as I find my eye is being drawn to it a lot. |

That's a really great shot! I love the way the bridge vanishes into the fog. |
