That's a beautiful image! I love the color palette, the reflection of the sky on the beach and the composition with the dead "tree" as a leading line to the horizon. |

This is a very compelling image, Diane! I really like the results on the foreground, it is quite lovely. The background where the particularly the bright area is problematic and does look over processed. I like the idea of masking it, but I think some work would be involved in correcting it once it is masked. In Photoshop I would add an exposure and brightness/contrast adjustment layers that are masked to just affect the background and then do some painting the the mask to control the amount of the adjustment once I had the basic values set. |

I really like your sepia treatment, it really works for this image! It definitely has an old timey feel to it. I do agree that you should darken the light blotch in the upper left. I'm not sure that enhancing the roof is necessary. |

That's a great image Michael! The photographer in it really makes it. It gives it a huge sense of scale and the B&W treatment gives a sense of desolation. |

I do remember the image from last year! It's a really pleasing image with the fall foliage, I do agree with Adi that the light on the right hand side is a bit distracting. I like your second edit better. |

Weirdly they all are. Mount Olympus actually has 52 peaks. The highest is called Mytikas (Nose), and is obscured by the clouds along with the adjacent peak Stephani (Throne of Zeus). |
