The long exposure definitely gives the impression of the passage of time, and a surreal feel to the picture along with the color palette. It might be interesting to take several of these exposures during different times of the day and create a composite showing an even longer passage of time. |

This is a really well composed image, and you did a great job with your post processing. I agree with the comments everyone made, and in some respects I think your second edit did address some of the issues, but the water has some problems where it is blown out, and the rocks really appear "crunchy". One thing you could do is create smart filter layer and add a Gaussian Blur effect, very slight maybe s 2 pixel radius. Then you mask the whole layer out with a black mask. Then taking a soft round brush set to white, on the mask gently paint back in the rocks. When you are finished, you can adjust the layer's opacity to your liking. The water is a different problem. I liked it better in the original image. You could try to adjust the highlights in a separate layer much like I detailed for the rocks, using a camera raw filter, which may improve it. You could also use a Blend If to mask just the blown out portion. Here's a little video on how to use Blend If in PS if you don't know how to do it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ysShyX50r6U&t=0s |

Just beautiful! I love the pastel colors and subtle contrast between light and shadow! I would say they amount of saturation is perfect. The grain elevator provides a wonderful focal point. |

This image has a lot of drama! I love the lightning bolt in the distance! I agree that doing a composite image of the sky at a faster exposure might be a good idea, as the clouds are noticeably blurry from the long exposure. I do have a question, there is a lot of mist at the base of the rocks, is that actually mist or waves that are blurred into a mist from the long exposure? |

I really love the mood of this image, it's so serene! I agree that a slightly lower camera angle would give the image a bit more drama. I would keep the color balance the way it is, the color palette is perfect in my opinion. |
