That's a really cool image. Did you use a LUT to change it to night, or was it done in camera? |

I like the moody emotion this image evokes. I do agree with Larry, I think that area in the lower right could be darkened a bit. So I'm not sure I'm seeing the troll correctly. To my eye the troll is reclining against the tree on the left, his head about halfway up the trunk. I can see a log that looks like his leg(?) sticking out from the torso at a 45 degree angle, but I don't really see any other limbs. Do I have that right? |

I was kind of thinking along the same lines, using a gradient mask on a brightness or exposure adjustment layer from top to bottom. |

I think I really need to check out Topaz. Really great shot of the houses, the focus is nice and sharp on them and I love the color. |

I never cease to be amazed by your images, Larry. Its a beautiful job. I love the color of the sky and the way you brought out the stars. One nit I did notice, is there is a slight halo around the right side of the lighthouse. I'm not sure if that's a camera artifact or from post-processing. |

Great shot! Very impactful. Topaz did a great job removing the noise. I agree with the others suggestion to crop the bottom. |
