Thanks for all your comments. I think I will change the crop and try to enhance the water reflections of the ferris wheel. I will also try to open up the shadow under the pier a little more. |

I agree with Barbara, for the most part I think a really like this photo as is. There is naturally a lot of of contrast and I'm not sure that needs to be enhanced. I do like Larry's treatment of the sage on the right, but I would probably back it off a bit. As to the crop, I really like the detail on the trunk of the woody brush. At most I would crop out the stone on the bottom that is cut in half. It just a really lovely image.

Enjoy your new camera! It takes a great photo! I like the contrast of the waterfront with the water. I do agree with the others that the bow of the boat is a distraction and best cropped out.

Really nice image! The shutter speed really does improve the appearance of the falls. The moss is on the rocks is nice and sharp, as well as the rocks. I do prefer the main image over the original, the multiple streams of water provide more interest, and I think the an is better too. I think the image without the branch is better, but it doesn't really detract enough to not enter the unaltered image into a nature category.

That's a really nice image. I love the texture of the sand, the tidal pool reflecting the sky and the ocean in the distance. It has a color pallet enhances the calm feeling of the image.
