This is a well composed image. I like the way the leading lines of the rock and the foliage take your eye down to the sea. Im not sure I would do anything with areas in shadow, the contribute a sense of drama to the image. I do agree that cloning out the puddle on the right might improve the image, but as Micheal said, that is a nit. Great work! |

This is a wonderful image. Is this the coast road? I made a trip up the coast road from LA to San Fransisco in the late 80's and I really want to do it again. I love the bridge and the water. In addition to the changes suggested, you could bump up the saturation and vibrance a bit an the water and selectively on the fore and midground rocks and foliage. You might also consider masking the sky and experimenting with the contrast on that to bring out a little more detail on the clouds. |

Nice image! I like the b/w and sepia treatment. I agree with Michael about darking the left side and the hill. Since the house and outbuilding are the subject you could try to sharpen them a bit to bring out more detail in the wood siding and shingles. |

I really like the strong horizontal lines of the bridge and the waterfall and how they create a leading line to the mill. I saw your comment about your camera settings, but I really can't tell. They colors are vibrant and the image is sharp. They newer camera don't really have a problem with ISOs under 1000, so 800 while it is high for the conditions, probably did not affect the quality of the image. Did you do anything in post processing? |

I really great image! I love the sky and mountain and the leading line of the valley to the smaller peake on the left. I agree with the others that the image is a little dark. I would do separate adjustment layers for the mountain and the sky. I would bump up the exposure on both layers and experiment with increasing contrast on the sky to get the clouds to pop a bit more. Great work! |
