That is a really good image. I really like the composition of the falls. I've been experimenting with exposure times for moving water. I agree with the suggestions made by Arne and Micheal. The rest of the image looks a little soft to me, particularly the trees. You could try mildly sharpening just the trees and bushes in the foreground. I typically will use an unsharp layer where I paint in the areas I want to sharpen on a mask and the reduce the opacity of the layer to between 30-50%. I am attaching an image where I did that as well as what was suggested above. I also tweak the contrast a bit. See what you think. |

I really like the composition of this image and how the shed in the foreground is balanced by the windmill in the background. I agree Richard about the sign and Arne about perhaps darkening the whole image to give it a little more drama, particularly the sky to make the clouds pop a bit more. |

Very nice B&W image and very reminiscent of Ansel Adams. I really like the whole composition and would not change anything. |

I love this image, particularly the clouds and shadows. The road gives a nice leading line into the valley and mountains. |

Wow that's a great image. I love the lighting, the colors, and the stitching is flawless. Did you use a plugin to stitch your images? |

Thanks for you input, Micheal. I see the area you're talking about, it is a little light and could draw your eye away from the falls. |

Thanks Larry! Good catch on the spot, I missed that one, there were several others I cloned out. I think it was actually a water droplet. Even though I was in a sheltered area, there was still some spray coming off the falls carried by the wind. I was periodically wiping my lens off but still managed to get some droplets on it. I normally just use Photoshop to edit, but I will take a look at the crop overlays in Lightroom. |
