This is a really great image, the focus is tack sharp and the dark background creates a moody, almost mysterious atmosphere. Really good work! |

This image is making me excited about my upcoming trip to Iceland! I like the composition; there is a lot of interesting things going on with the buildings and the cattle. I agree the foreground could be cropped out, since not much is happening there, and a bit of darking and contrast will make the image pop more. |

I love the muted colors and leading line of the road pulling you into the shed. I do agree with everyone about the branches on the right. I like Richards treatment. Was that done in Photoshop? |

This is a really wonderful image! I love the colors and how they reflect from the sky into the water and the snow on the rock formation in the foreground. |

I love the colors, particularly the poppies! I also really like the stones in the top of the image, they remind me of a kind of standing stone found in Ireland called a dolmen or portal tomb. I agree with George, cropping the rock on the left would improve the image. Also I would like to see a better depth of field, the flowers at the top of the image seem a bit soft to me. You might be able to fix that up in Photoshop with a unsharp mask and mask it just for the middle and background. This could also just be an artifact of the size of the image, the original may be fine. I attached a file where I applied an unsharp mask layer masked for the background and middle and set to 65% opacity as an example. |

Yeah, on my monitor, the forground shadow is a lot darker here. I actually have a layer with a mask to increase the brightness on that area. Maybe I should turn that up a bit more or try a different type of adjustment. Thx for the input! |

I accidentally gave Le the description from last month's image. This was taken with a Nikon D7200, not a cellphone, but it was taken on a different day on the same trip. Hopefully Le will get my corrected description up soon. That would be a pretty amazing image for a cellphone, lol! |
