Hi Charles
You live in a beautiful place. The high lights are too high, they distract me a lot in that upper left corner and you lost the information. I have tried to recover it in that area and I have lowered the light in the middle areas of the wetland to add some contrast |

Thanks Stephen, with the lighting conditions of this country, it is a resource that I use a lot |

Hello Judith, if it is taken with an f: 2 and an Iso 400, the light was indirect, it entered through the door of your wooden house, in the late afternoon. |

Hello Judith
Those stems of the peppers, transmit a feeling of tenderness as if they loved each other. You have achieved a very tender image. And the noise of the SE does not displease me in this case. The depth of field that Weston used was admirable |

Hello Peter
Good capture and good framing, did you darken the background in PS? I see some white spots scattered in the background that distract my eyes |

Hi Dirk
I do a lot of portraits with landscape orientation in the studio. In your image I really believe that you do not need to add anything in the negative space, I feel that the metal handle of the stick, balances the image. Now if you have included the snake for an artistic reason, there is nothing to say, art is free. The main light is low in relation to the subject, is an effect sought to give something of mystery to the image? |

Hello Jane, it is difficult to advise you if you do not know what you wanted, I feel that the framing made by the two closest mountains asks me to find something inside, but the fog does not let me see, I think if the peak of the mountain behind , arise from among that fog more to the center the image, it would gain compositionally. Or center your frame in the right area of the image. The format of the image is panoramic medium? |
