33 Jan 20 Reply Thanks, Raymond! Jan 16th
33 Jan 20 Reply Thanks for the suggestions, Paul. I still have a lot to learn about Photoshop. Jan 16th
33 Jan 20 Reply Ow, wow, that version is absolutely stunning! Jan 12th
33 Jan 20 Reply Wow, you did an awesome job of removing the haze! Did you do that with Photoshop? Jan 12th
33 Jan 20 Reply Thanks for the suggestions, Bob. I'm just learning Photoshop. I'm hoping in the future to be able to do the things with highlights and shadows that you suggested. I really love Photoshop, but there's a lot to learn. I purchased some books on the program and am making my way through them. Jan 12th
33 Jan 20 Reply Thanks for explaining what you meant, Bob. Those are good tips. Jan 12th
33 Jan 20 Comment I like the bright yellow flowers against the dark background. It's great that you saw that and captured the image. Jan 8th
33 Jan 20 Comment I agree with Bob. I think the original photo doesn't have enough focus. The cropped image focuses on the gorgeous colors and sharp details that you captured of that flower. Jan 8th
33 Jan 20 Comment Very nice! This would work well as a photograph in their college magazine, especially since you captured both the college plaque on the left and the full length of the building. Details are very crisp and clear. The photograph looks very professional. Well done! Jan 8th
33 Jan 20 Comment Beautiful photo! You did so much so well in this image. The colors are great. the image is sharp. The sky is blue and filled with clouds. The road provides a great leading line. The trailer on the road suggests a story: One lonely trailer out in this vast expanse of nature - where is it going? Jan 8th
33 Jan 20 Comment Great photo! You captured the decay of this building really well. The surrounding trees on which the leaves have died adds to the mood of the photo. Well done! Jan 8th
33 Jan 20 Comment I felt the same as Bob upon viewing your photo. Your sky is so phenomenal, I didn't even notice the village at first. Yet you captured the village very crisply and clearly and the colors of the village and its green grassy areas work so well with the blue tones of the sky and river. Do you have any photos of this spot where the village is more visible? That sky really is phenomenal, definitely has a wow factor! Jan 8th
33 Jan 20 Comment Thanks so much! I love the way you made the blue water more of the focus. Yes, we were on the South rim. What do you mean about using the mid-canyon plateau and or the North rim for a horizon? We didn't get up early enough for sunrise. I should definitely do that some time. At night, the sky was so clear, however, we got to see the Milky Way. It was extraordinary. Jan 8th
