33 Aug 19 Reply Thanks, Bob! Aug 19th
33 Aug 19 Reply Thanks so much for your suggestions. And thanks so much for pointing out the heart in the mountain! I didn't even see that. Aug 17th
33 Aug 19 Reply Thanks, Paul. I realize I seriously need to learn more about photo editing. It's something I plan to do over the next year. Thanks for your suggestions! And, yeah, the vodka was great. Aug 16th
33 Aug 19 Reply Those are definitely two very different photos. :) Aug 15th
33 Aug 19 Comment Gorgeous photo! I really don't have any suggestions. The colors against a black background are stunning. Aug 14th
33 Aug 19 Comment I love this point of view that makes the building soar up toward a turbulent sky. I think black-and-white adds to the effectiveness of the image. It bothers me that I can only see part of the word before "Building" and wonder if more of the left side of the building could be shown to reveal that word. Aug 14th
33 Aug 19 Comment This looks like a fascinating building. I love the shot itself. Have you tried photo-editing the sky separately from the rest of the photograph? It looks to me like maybe the brightness of the sky needs to be brought down without doing that to the building. I'm an amateur at editing photos, though, so I'm not sure. Aug 14th
33 Aug 19 Comment The shapes of the building are fascinating and create an eerie mood. Another angle might be more effective - The bright areas in the background draw my eye, as though I'm supposed to look at something through the frames made by the building. Was there any graffiti artwork that would add to photographs of this structure? Aug 14th
33 Aug 19 Comment I agree with Elizabeth. You did a great job of achieving what you hoped to in this photo. The S curve draws you into the photo quite effectively and you did an incredible job of bringing out the golden glow at the front of the photo. Aug 14th
33 Aug 19 Comment That's such a beautiful photo of such an inviting scene! I agree about bringing the dark areas up. I also wonder how it would look if you straightened the rock wall by tilting the image more to the left. I'm constantly straightening my own photos that way - It might just be me, but I'm wanting to see that wall straightened a bit. That really is a beautiful photo. It would make a great greeting or Christmas card or even a great book cover. Aug 14th
33 Aug 19 Reply Thanks so much, Elizabeth. Actually, I'm not young. This adventure tour group caters to people 55 and over. It was pretty cool, something I wasn't sure I'd ever get to do. Aug 14th
33 Aug 19 Reply Thanks so much, Ken. Those suggestions are extremely helpful! Aug 7th
