33 May 19 Reply Larry and Bob - Thanks. I'd be hesitant to flip this travel photo because it's a place well-known to those who visit the Dingle Peninsula in Ireland, but I'll keep your advice in mind. After reading your comments, I checked out some professional photos of the Dingle Peninsula, including one by the Smithsonian, and many have cliffs facing in the same direction as mine. May 29th
33 May 19 Reply Thanks, Larry! That does make the houses stand out more. Somehow, the image is reversed, though. How did that happen? May 28th
33 May 19 Reply Makes sense. I thought that might be the case with the trees, but wasn't sure. May 22nd
33 May 19 Comment I love the fog and the brightness of the mountain peak on the right. I might try making the middle line more of a straight line, rather than so sloped. May 22nd
33 May 19 Comment I love the scene and all the colors in it. As Bob said, it might be a bit too busy for competitions; but it's a nice photo. May 22nd
33 May 19 Comment That's a stunning photo. The texture of the clouds and the hills, along with the lighting, makes for a dramatic shot. I love the strip of green and yellow color on the black-and-white hills. Nicely done! May 22nd
33 May 19 Comment That's a gorgeous photo, especially with the golden light. I'd suggest cropping out some of the field at the very bottom of the photo, but that's my only suggestion. May 22nd
33 May 19 Comment I have no experience with IR, so I really can't add anything to the discussion. It's awesome that you're photographing in IR. May 22nd
33 May 19 Comment The leading lines of the rocks and the way the fog matches the smoky effect of the water all work together to make this a great photo. The island looks mysterious in this shot. May 22nd
33 May 19 Comment Thanks, Elizabeth. I'm pretty sure I have photographs of that scene from different spots. The view was stunning. I'll have to go back and see what I've got. I know I took a lot of photographs at that location. May 22nd
33 May 19 Reply Thanks, Paul. At the time, I was concentrating on photographing the cliff and the ocean below it. At the actual location, the view was stunning. May 22nd
33 May 19 Reply Thanks for your suggestions, Bob. Those are very helpful suggestions. May 22nd
33 May 19 Reply Thanks for your input, Ken. I know I need to work on my skies. One of my next photography editing goals is to learn how to improve the sky in my photographs. May 22nd
