33 Feb 19 Reply Thanks so much, Elizabeth! Feb 22nd
33 Feb 19 Reply It's great to hear that you were able to do that with my photo. Is there any way for you to post it in this thread, so I could see it? I feel the same as you about the Grand Canyon. I plan to go back there to try to take better photos. Most of mine were washed out and hazy. Feb 20th
33 Feb 19 Reply Great! Thanks! Feb 20th
33 Feb 19 Reply Also, in my view, it looks like my Reply ends up being posted right underneath the comment I'm replying to after I hit Submit. Feb 18th
33 Feb 19 Reply Hi, Bob! I tried clicking Reply several times like you suggested. A large box underneath the entire discussion area says "Reply Here," but an indented box right underneath the comment I'm replying to never appears. Feb 18th
33 Feb 19 Comment Thanks, Larry! I like what you did with the photo. Feb 18th
33 Feb 19 Comment Hi, Bob. Yes, the eye is usually drawn to the brighter spots of an image; but here, I found the dark areas large enough to draw my eye to them. Feb 17th
33 Feb 19 Comment Thanks, Bob! And thanks for letting me know how Reply works here. I've been hitting Reply to respond to comments, as that shows up immediately here in my view. Feb 17th
33 Feb 19 Comment This is an awesome photo. Great job! The detail of the heart on the front of the building is a really nice touch. Feb 16th
33 Feb 19 Comment I agree with several suggestions in the discussion. I love the lines and details of the sand and the tree as a primary focus, but the dark black areas draw the eye away from those parts of the image. Feb 16th
33 Feb 19 Comment This is an interesting setting. The image doesn't appear sharp, however, and I think the horizon could be straighter. The colors are awesome. The snow on the mountain and the clouds are great. Feb 16th
33 Feb 19 Comment Thanks, Paul! That's very helpful. I did take this (and a lot of other photos) without a tripod while visiting the Grand Canyon. Feb 11th
33 Feb 19 Comment Thanks so much, Ken! It's really helpful to see the different ways in which the final photo can be created. That helps a lot. Feb 7th
33 Feb 19 Comment Nice picture with beautiful colors and sunlight. I'd recommend cropping the bottom in order to remove the section right along the bottom where there are what appear to be dead leaves. Feb 1st
33 Feb 19 Comment I love the leading line of the railroad tracks and black and white works really well for this picture. It does seem a bit blurry, though. It would be a stronger image if it was sharper. Feb 1st
33 Feb 19 Comment That is beautiful! I don't have any suggestions about how it might be better. It looks like a painting. It looks perfect as it is. Feb 1st
