Yes, I did virtually all cropping in camera. This was shot in our guest bathroom with room size and shape limiting what I could shoot vs. what I wanted to shoot. For the most part, I got just about everything I wanted. I have nearly 100 images shot over the whole blossoming period. I did experiment with different lighting sources from a lamp to a flashlight and indirect lighting from the hall. I learned a lot about what does and does not work well. |

To me there are two stars to this show, Tucker and his shadow. I cropped to balance that perception. I also did some burning of the shadow and the cushion to Tucker's left. I reduced the shadows just a little under his chin. Who couldn't love that face? |

When I saw your image, I knew what I wanted to do but Art beat me to it. As an alternative, I reduced the "pano" crop, used Topaz Gigapixel to increase pixels to work with, and reduced highlights to bring out the texture of the snow. I also increased saturation. Love the whole cold lonely story being told. |

I'm a sucker for silhouettes. When the subject is human, it leaves it up to the viewer whether the subject is approaching or leaving the camera. I like the warm tone. I submit a different take on composition. I darkened the shadows and reduced highlights which changed the color saturation. Do you have a shot of the sun through her scarf? |

For the life of me, I can't see how you cropped and flipped the "original" to get the final edit. I like the lines and diagonals. The contrast is striking. |
