38 Feb 24 Comment This is a wonderful seascape. I love your colors. I did go in a different direction. I cropped to remove what I thought was unnecessary beach. Although it did add depth, I felt the waves provided context so kept some of them to zoom in to the boat and emphasize it more. I also added a little sky tent to the water. I removed the light on the horizon. Overall, it is a beautiful image. Feb 9th

38 Feb 24 Comment I think, like most art, there are some genres that are an acquired taste. I'm warming up to ICM and this image helps. I love the color and action. I really like how you used light to draw my eyes into the image. I've dabbled in ICM and fully appreciate the imagination and technique required. Not being proficient in ICM, I don't feel qualified to recommend changes, but that doesn't hinder my appreciation. Very nice. Feb 5th
38 Feb 24 Comment Thanks for the analysis. You're right, it was hand held. The softness is probably a function of cropping, pixel count, and post processing. I have to say your last two sentences have me bewildered. How is my lens an 800mm equivalent and how would that equate to the focus problem. The R5 has a full frame sensor with an in-camera (selectable) 1.6x crop factor. I probably was shooting with this selected. At worst, that would be a 640mm equivalent. Feb 2nd
