Thanks, Art. I get that perspective from something I learned at the horse track. It's a trade-off thing like everything in photography. The further away from my subject, the more shallow the horizontal angle and the closer to the level of the subject it appears. As you can see from the original, they were about as far away as I wanted to get, even with the "L" series glass of the Canon 100-400mm. I like what you did. The blood red exhaust is interesting. As a side note: They are required to break formation before they get to the "show line" which is somewhere in front of the spectators. This has been a requirement ever since the disaster at Ramstein Air Base in 1988 that killed 70 and injured over 300. It helps to know some history and what some of the rules are. |
