Thanks for the feedback. The intent was to convey the open space of South Dakota. I felt the balance happened with the triangle formed by the bison and the sun. |

Oops. My bad. Now I see it but I still think the crop would work. You'd be surprised how many people make that name mistake. My mom wanted to name me Keith but that was also an old boyfriend's name and dad said no. LOL. |

Wow, Art. You got my attention. I think you have all the color and saturation you need. I think you did a good job balancing the individual images in this composite. The large figure on top draws me in and I appreciate the horror genre with each scan. I think the dark background contribute to the dark mood of the whole image. This would make a great poster for fans of horror. Well done. |

This is a nice image of three hummers on a feeder. I don't think there is always a major story to tell other than wanting to share a nice image with your viewers. "No drama" is also a story. I agree with darkening the background but I think hummers need space so I'd leave the original composition as it was. I like the balance of the pink feeder base with the pink reflection on top of the water. I do think the shadows could be reduced to add a little more detail to the birds. What fun! Very nice. |

I think this would make a great accent to a lobby or large office. For me the colors are soothing and certainly not overbearing. The use of multi-exposure is quite creative. I like the balance of complimentary green and orange. I am impressed with how you've embraced the multi-exposure technique. I've done a little and it certainly changes how you look at possible subjects. The image is well composed and the soft pastels contribute to a sense of calm. Be careful with too tight a crop. If you decide to print and hang you need to leave room for the frame or matting. A lesson learned the hard way. I'd hang this one in my office. Well done. |

Seriously, I don't know where you get your ideas but I love this image and I hope you keep doing what you do so well. I find the juxtaposition of the rainbow of background color and the book shadows fascinating. I look at the books and my eyes are immediately guided to the climbers and the color. My eyes scream for the one to hold on and not fall. In my opinion the tree adds balance and interest without distraction. Wow. Just wow. My only suggestion would be to try reducing the shadows just a bit (as if you didn't) just to see how that might add a bit of mystery to the left side of the image. I really look forward to you next contribution. The pressure is on. LOL |

What an interesting photograph. I think you did a really nice job with the highlights. To me the hint of orange accents the green foliage reflection. For me there isn't enough space above the figure with so much along the bottom. I'd personally like to see a balance by cropping up to just below the snake (nice accidental touch of interest). For me the snake provides enough that you don't need the little bit of figure reflection since you don't have very much anyway. In my opinion the whole image, as nice as it is, could benefit from a vignette. Very nice. |

I just had to comment on this image. I love just about everything about it. I love the balance and symmetry of the landscape balanced against the three boats lined up in the water. Each boat has separation leading my eyes back to a beautiful reflection of so many soft pastels. To me the sky is interesting but not distracting and the foliage is a feast for my eyes. I love this image. My only suggestion (as minor and biased as it is) would be to crop just enough from the bottom to balance the space in front of the boats with the space occupied by the sky. Absolutely beautiful. |
