Yes! Very clever...just remove the distraction. |

I think everyone has created an image in their style and each is well done. To my eye the image appears in focus and properly exposed. My only suggestion would be to avoid breaking the horizon line. I think it would be okay if you were lower putting the horizon lower on the subject. For me having the two sticks cut the horizon is a distraction. |

I think this is an interesting image and it demonstrates the importance of properly giving an image a title. To me it is properly focused. The exposure hints of an overcast day. I do like the addition of a vignette. It looks to me like you added a "grunge" effect in post and I like it. I think maybe a slightly slower shutter would have added motion and helped with the story telling. At first glance I thought it was a school bus burning (and it was) but that wasn't the story. Still, an interesting image. |

i really like this image. For my eyes, the balance and composition is very pleasing. It would be nice for it to be brighter and the colors richer but then, you did a great rescue of the original. I think the only "gotcha" is that you cut off the boat on the right of the image. Border patrol is not just to check for what doesn't belong but be sure to check for unnecessary edits or check to eliminate anything that does not contribute to the story. (That is subjective and depends on you). Nothing is more irritating than a critique that assumes your intent. Anyway, in my opinion a very nice image. I do like the idea of returning, if possible, for better light conditions. |

I can honestly say I've never been tempted to photograph someone's tongue and mouth eating ice cream. With that being said, the more I think about it, the more I realize you've captured a unique and "interesting" image. You've demonstrated that one trait I personally like about a photograph...imagination. I like that you didn't capture the eyes. To me "eyes" render a photograph personal. For me this is about the ice cream. It's a shame the image does appear to be slightly out of focus. Still, an interesting idea well executed. |

I can not disagree with Gabriele. What a marvelous composition. To me it's a piece of art that requires (No, demands) little or no explanation. I think there are just enough pieces to this puzzle to satisfy the imagination of anyone viewing it. I love the use of pastels without any one color screaming "Look at me". To my eye the central figure draws me into a story of desperation and grief. Just remarkable. Well done. |

Wow! I love the imagination and creativity. I can't wait to try this technique for in-camera multi-exposures. As I have stated before, I think what separates a photographer from the crowd is imagination. Congrates on a wonder piece of art. I love the soft pastels and for me the composition is spot on. |
