Lovely composition -- nice diagonal and 5 points of interest, each different!
I like the black background, and, as I said, I find what Georges did distracting. But a plain, dark color that didn't have a pattern in it might work as well. |

I agree with you that the added background is distracting. |

Perfect and beautiful, tho I like what Janet did, if it were allowed. The different tip is a bit distracting. |

Oh, this is gorgeous! Blow it up and hang it on a wall! I love photos like this (I also like impressionist art), but I haven't been able to achieve one yet. Congrats to you! |

I like the flip too. A lovely, clear, sharp photo! |

I'm sorry, I'm a sucker for raccoons, and I find this picture adorable. I know the mischief they get into: into trash, eating fish from ponds, irritating dogs. I've never had one in one of our chimneys, that I know of. I agree with the switch of the vignette and border, per Dick's suggestions. My only one would be I would have cropped about a half a brick line higher up to just get all of the tail and then a tiny bit. A fun picture, even if a problem animal! |

I agree with you entirely about the detail in the upper right -- it is eye-catching and would be better off from a compositional perspective repositioned as you suggest. And, too, the DOF could have been improved! |

Very creative idea! I do agree with Lauren that the doll looks like she's kind of plagued with something, but I think overall it's a really interesting image! |

Way too complicated for a beginner like me to comment. I enjoyed the gooey gooey, though, and frankly, my first impression was that it was something real shot at a big aquarium. |

A great capture of a great moment! I it had been mine, I would have cropped some off the left side. |

I have no idea what you mean by separation nor how I would achieve it. Can you explain, please? I am a beginner. |

I think it's a really interesting composite. I like the lines going everywhere, and I like searching and finding the figures. Multiple colors. I could't do such a thing, as I wouldn't know how, but I enjoyed imagining what was going on in the figure's lives, when I was able to focus on them. |

I would have liked to see the whole snail clearly, and then something artistic done with it. Snails need some elevation. I love what Peter did. |

Lovely very manipulated photo. I like the swirl filter. I'm guessing the green was the result of the Corel Painter. Very nice! |
