I think that was a good idea. I often use detail x with fur & feathers. I think this was a good suggestion. Thank you. |

Wow, I'm impressed that you caught such a sharp image of a warbler. Great job. I like the nice light on the bird and that his body is sharp. I would consider taking down the brightness of that branch behind his tail and cropping the entire image so that your subject is larger in the frame. |

What a pretty little guy. Humming birds are challenging subjects. I agree with David's comments about the radial blur. It just doesn't make sense with the stationary bird. Might I also suggest removing some of the branches which are light and compete with the bird. Also, on my monitor, the bird isn't sharp. In my experience of photographing hummingbirds, I need to keep my shutter speed up around 1/1000th. Still, a beautiful bird. |

I enjoy this image and like your interpretation. Such a pretty lily. On my monitor the water was very pink and kind of overtook the lily so I played with your image a bit, reducing the pink in the water, adding a touch of color to the leaves and removing that leave next to the lily. Just some ideas I had. |

When I first saw this image I thought it was of a place near Bridgeport in the Eastern Sierra. The composition is lovely with the stream meandering into the mid ground of the scene to the houses and the flowering brush in the foreground. This was clearly a thoughtfully composed image. I am also really bothered by the lack of focus and agree with David's suggestions of the smaller aperture. Walter also makes a good point about the tree limbs. |

I love this view of the turtle. I think you positioned him well in the frame and you have really highlighted some detail that we don't always see. I really like this image but do agree with David about removing the green needles. |

So I played with it this am, Walter. I like your changes. That's why it's good to have more eyes. I remember those mountains being so bright that am. Thanks so much. I think it's an improvement. |

I love what you did, Walter. I didn't even think of that as those mountains are very light and in the am sun, they looked even lighter. I'm going to play with the image based on what you did. Thank you so much. |

Thank you for your kind comments. I don't often do sky replacements, in fact have never done one like this. But, despite having clouds for most of the day, each mornig the sky was clear. The light was nice that am but the image needed something to make it more than a pleasant memory. I appreciate your comments. Thank you. |
