What a difference flipping the image made! Now I see the pigeon. In the original my eyes were all over the place and never picked up the bird. I was trying to make a story for the sneakers but the fence and other distractions in the background prevented me from doing so.
I like the trees and the supports, as well as, the overall quality of the image. |

Grace, I think that this photo by itself is lost. I needs the context that would have been provided by the other images in the Covid-19 series to anchor it. I also find the thick bar across the bottom very distracting. My suggestion would be to either level it or remove it. |

Great capture. I am always a day late and a dollar short when I try and photograph something like this, I am jealous. I like the reflections of the geese in the water, but I too would remove some of the top area, I do not believe it adds anything to the image. I think that brightening the dark goos is a great suggestion. |

I like the picture because of the story behind it. I like the composition and I believe the story accounts for the blown out area and makes it meaningful. |

I like the rotation and the addition of the clouds. I do think you should consider the changes that Rich and Barbara suggested. When I first saw the image early in the month the lighting threw me off a bit. Both Barbara and Rich have outlined strategies that I think would love my issue. It seems kike a fascinating area, your picture does it justice. |

This picture is fascinating. I would not crop it any more. I like the way that the S-curve divides the image into different areas of interest. I find my eyes meandering all through the image resting for a second on each of the sections bordering the curve.

I love foliage pictures and your image reminds me why I do. Nice warm, brilliant image. I particularly like the intersection of the paths and how it gives a sense of the steepness of the slope. My observation is that you have the possibility some intriguing shadows there, is there some way to increase their impact? |

Great capture especially from that distance. The light is phenomenal and I like the slight halo effect around the animals. Everything looks so natural and normal. Even the ground is perfect for this scene.
Nice pickup from that distance, |

I absolutely love this image. I love an angry ocean, and you certainly have one here. The sky reminds me of my many trips to Whidbey Island where the skies were so dramatic. I think the state of Washington has the most remarkable skies, mist, and fog. What realty struck me in this picture was the cliff. It is though you could witness the effects of thousands of years of battering and erosion from the waves. In my mind, this picture captures the raw power of the waves over time. |

The image is certainly thought provoking. As I looked at it longer, more and more details became apparent. I agree with Theresa's assessment of "financial stress, despair, and hope living within those walls." I could certainly see this as photojournalism.
I also agree that the bottom left corner should be darkened a bit...it does pull my eye from the main portion of the image. I am of two schools of thought on the powerlines. I agree with Mike, they do impact the image. However, if the intent is to capture the conditions of the village, then the powerlines add to our understanding.
A very impactful image.
