Grace, I love the image. You have really captured the moonrise and moodiness of the location. The darker area at the bottom does pull my eye and make me gravitate to that portion of the image stealing my attention for the moonrise.
Another very interesting image Grace. I really enjoy your perspective. |

I liked the image from the start. It took me a second to see the ghostly image, I was captivated by the scene itself. I agree with Tom and Rich, I would get rid of the fire alarm box. In my mind, it just doesn't fit the time period or the image. I really like the results of your experimentation. |

What a wonderful image. The sharpness is remarkable. I like that the bird is in the bottom corner. Although, I generally do not like foreign objects around the subjects head, in this case it does not bother me. Maybe it is the natural setting? I tend to think that it is due to the clarity of the bird.

I love the tunnel effect in this picture. I would crop a bit from both sides as, I believe, that heightens the impact of the tunnel and enhances the waterfall.
I love foliage pictures, catching the leaves at just the right time can be as difficult as capturing the image. Very, very nice. |

Great capture. Detail is amazing. I like the background with a bit of detail in it. I agree with Grace, eyes are so important to an image, and you captured them perfectly here. |

Gorgeous picture. I agree with Tom, the two vehicles do grab your eye and take away from the overall impact. I would think about cropping up from the bottom to the line of tall grass. The sky is so magnificent it deserves a bit more real estate. |

Very nice panorama. I love foliage images and this is a wonderful one. The reflections are remarkable. Very nice capture. |

I like the feel of it very much. I also like the fact that it is daring. My only suggestion would be to reduce the brightness of the light in the background, it pulls your eye from the subject matter.
As far as judging, I have never been able to figure it out. |

Great capture. The clarity is amazing. I love the way that the wing gently blends with the background. I admire the patience it must have taken to capture this image. My only suggestion is that the sharpness and clarity of the tree is so remarkable that it takes my eye from the bird. Perhaps, there is some way to blur it slightly and bring the focus back to the bird. |

I like the remake very much. It brings out the lighthouse and the ocean shore. The flagpole in the original was a distraction and you did a very nice job of eliminating it. My only other observation is that with the change of sky, I believe, the shoreline and lighthouse need to be lightened ever so slightly. My eye is telling me there should be a bit more sunlight.
