7 May 20 Comment I liked the image as is, but after seeing Tom's comment I agree with him. The shadow in the lower left does pull my eye and this image deserves the viewers attention to be focused in the main area. I like every other aspect this image the fence, the diagonal, the framing shadows and the light. Wonderful eye! May 11th

7 May 20 Comment I am partial to black and white and find myself drawn to the black and white picture. I do find it a tad underexposed overall and the brightness of the sun exacerbating the underexposure and pulling my eye from the wave. You have really captured the majesty and power of the wave, you should make sure that is where the viewers eye goes. May 9th

7 May 20 Comment I really enjoyed looking at this image. I am fascinated by the woman's face and the level of concentration reflected in it. I like the way her face is lit as well. The white garments or objects draw my attention from an image that is very well composed and captured. May 9th
7 May 20 Comment The poppies are remarkable. Rich's comment on the complimentary colors is rights on target. When I first looked at the image the fence did not bother me, but the longer I look at it the more I agree with the others. I do the the picture very much, even with the fence. May 9th
7 May 20 Comment Tom- I find it very emotional. I can almost feel his pain as he touches the wall. It is such a sacred place and your picture captures the rawness of the emotions that surface there. I find the the names showing through the refection extremely moving. I agree with changing the top right corner, but it my mind it does not detract from the image as it stands. May 9th
