Wow. I really like the changes. When I saw the original, I was thinking that there was a lot of sky in the image and if it was a deeper blue that it would help. I think it did.
I thought the original was a nice, interesting capture, with a lot of credit going to the bear, but your changes really made it into a very nice image. |

I think that the image captures the roiling nature of the water below the falls and the raw power that is released by the change in altitude. Given the title, I presume this is what you were trying to capture. I like it. |

It is a remarkably beautiful scene, but, I too find the contrast between the foreground and clouds disturbing. I also find the people a distraction, not because they are there, but they are not in focus. I think they need to be purposely blurred or in focus.
A beautiful scene though. Nice eye. |

I also agree with Tom. The puddle in the foreground does not really add to an otherwise remarkable image. I love images that tell a story and this one does a masterful job of jump starting my imagination. |

The starkness is amazing. I love B&W and this conversion is a great example of the impact of making the change. I actually like the grittiness the the black/gray lines add to the imae.

I really like the picture. It has so much to tell. I like the items on the table, I think they add to the story. The composition is excellent. I enjoy the warmth but immediately try and imagine what the cabin would feel like on a cold January morning. |
