In answer to your question: hopefully all of them (or at least most)! Good subject choice. Especially like the red lock with the heart engraved. I find the tall building in the background distracting so removed it in PS. Also did a little sharpening of the locks in LR as it felt a little out of focus in places. Over all good background blur and lighting. |

It's a shame you weren't able to enjoy dinner on the river. I would crop in and maybe add a little yellow to warm up the boat. |

As noted, great colors and subject choice. Just wondering about a couple of possibilities. I used a radial gradient to select primary subject area, selected "invert" and decreased the light to create a vignette. Darkened the top and bottom with a linear gradient. Just a thought. |

Sylvia, visiting from group 30: I love your idea of the dancing tulips. While I enjoy your finished product, it is the flowers dancing in the green grass that I find most appealing. Maybe experiment with that a little further??

Thank you Jody. I will need to go back and try it again. The entire area is interesting at night as well as it is along a commercial waterway and lots of lights on bridges, etc. |

Thanks Judy. I guess we have a consensus about the buildings and the tubes! |

Leonid, I like what you did with this image and I think the smokey b/w background was a creative choice. For me, if there is any issue with the background it is that it needs more contrast. In LR I selected the background and increased the contrast significantly. I like the result. I was amused that this was in Finland and she is wearing an American brand (Titleist) hat! Lots of portraits this month in the group. |

I think this has potential, but am not certain exactly what I am looking at. Is the entire image water or are the trees in the background on land? It is confusing to the eye. I tried adjusting the exposure and contrast to see if it would help me figure it out, but no luck. I would appreciate a further description. As I said, I think it has potential. |

Since Mark thought your image was too painterly (mine as well) I took the liberty to experiment with your lovely flower photo. First, I took it into Topaz Studio to denoise it (usually better to do this before any processing). In LR I also tried to sharpen the center a little to bring out more detail in the yellow center. Finally, also in LR, I added a preset called "warm shadows". I liked the reds that it produced. Finally, I made a very slight crop to draw even more attention to the center. Just a thought. |

Similar to Walter's image, I changed this crop to an 8x10 to eliminate some of the bright reflections above the model. I don't dislike the reflections over all but found some of them to be distracting. I would also recommend removing the green line in the pool and possibly the hair and shadow of the hair on her face. Otherwise I like the lighting on her face and her expression. |

I love the expression on the model's face. The red/black background plus the white drapes provide a pleasing background. I do agree with the others however. In my example I have increased the exposure a little and cropped from both top and bottom. Example attached. I did not take the time to remove the stray hair shadows from her face but would recommend that as well. |

Leonid, the primary subject is the cone. The pipes actually are fountains (water rises and lowers inside the glass areas). I included them as they are one of several art features outside the Museum. Based on your comment, I realize that if you are not familiar with the area you would not know that. In my mind, they are part of the environment, just as the buildings in the background. You have given me something to think about however. |

Mark, I should have mentioned that the effect was intentional. I prefer it to a more standard "photo" look. |

David, the one time I had the opportunity to try this sort of photography, I inadvertently deleted my images in camera. :-( So, your image especially caught my attention. It is exceedingly well done. As previously mentioned, your vision to rotate it was certainly inspired! Well done and good luck! |
