30 Aug 25 Comment Excellent subject for street photography. The subjects are sharp and you have some blur on the background. Because the background is so busy, I think I would still consider additional blurring and/or darkening of the background. You mentioned this is on Venis Bvd. I found it amusing that one of the men is wearing a hat that says Venice. Different spelling but apparently same pronunciation!

30 Aug 25 Comment You caught the fawn in a good "attentive" position. I understand why you did not crop more, but I still would try to crop some from the right and a little from the bottom.

30 Aug 25 Comment Patrick, thank you for including some of the specific actions you took while photographing and processing this image. To make it even more abstract I might suggest cropping in from both sides and bottom. While removing some of the other fish, it would bring our attention to the orange ones in the center, where I also see more of a "swirl". Just a thought. Aug 5th
30 Aug 25 Comment Phu, This is very well done. I appreciate that you have an interesting foreground with just enough light, but not so much as to interfere with our view of the Milky Way. My suggestion would be to remove some of the clouds on the righthand side of the image. For me they are a distraction from the MW. See my sample. Aug 5th
30 Aug 25 Comment I like this one better than last month's. The couple has a more natural pose. I'm surprised no one has mentioned the pole "growing" out the the man's head? Even with the magazine logo, I find it very distracting. Aug 5th

30 Aug 25 Reply Thank you. Interesting that both you and Leonid Found the bike distracting. I took it in part because of the bike. I felt it was as if someone had ridden there to enjoy the beach and the view. I appreciate a different perspective on it. Aug 5th
