30 May 24 Reply I wonder what would happen if you were to a sky that was less busy. May 6th

30 May 24 Comment You have a very good model here. The lighting and pose are well done. I (and probably the others in the group) would be interested in your lighting. Was it natural light? Did you use diffusers? May 5th
30 May 24 Comment I believe this building is by Frank Gehry? We have one of his buildings in Seattle. They are unique and take getting used to in their surroundings, but I do enjoy them. I enjoy the colors and lighting in your photo. I think you chose a particularly appealing angle for your shot. Question: did you replace the sky? I took the time to look up this building for a reference point. Your photo truly shows the building at its best. Well done! May 5th
30 May 24 Comment Judy this is a very compelling portrait. I like that he is looking right at you while on the phone. "Oh, I don't know, some lady is taking my picture, but I guess that's ok...." The lighting is very nice, but I feel like your subject is a bit soft. I took it into Topaz AI to reduce the noise and sharpen his face. I didn't take the time to mask, so it may have over-sharpened his arms, but I do like what it did to his face. Just a suggestion. May 5th
30 May 24 Comment I always enjoy architectural photos and this is no exception. Composition: I would crop from the bottom to remove the two rows of windows there.
Tonality and Brightness: I would adjust your blacks and whites. I think it needs more black and more white, get out of the gray zone.
I am not sure what the white geometric figures are in the upper right. I do find them distracting and would remove them or tone them down.
See my version. I made the crop and tonal ranges in LR and remove tool in PS to remove the bright areas and also the sprinkler heads on a wall on the left.

30 May 24 Comment Sorry "old Tom" didn't show up, but this is a great practice shot. The lighting is excellent and I really enjoy the foreground and background blur. I like the little yellow flowers that show. May 5th
