I found it amusing to see the words Burger King in a photo taken in Norway... |

I am glad you shared this photo and the fact that you were experimenting with light. Sometimes we get in a rut and need a new project. This is a good one. |

You have pointed out a very important fact: it is ultimately the photographer's call as to whether an image is "done". You are very gracious about considering our observations. I appreciate that. |

Beautiful colors in this reflection scene. I'm glad you included the curved support wall on the left. It adds interest and provides a good frame. The image appears a little tilted to the right. |

I like what you have done with this! Flipping it works well, as does your crop. You have turned this otherwise "blah" image into an intriguing image that will draw the viewer's attention. Your lighting on the brick wall is great and I like that you have brightened the window/ lighting the lamp post even a little more. Well done! |

I find it interesting that the three workmen are all in stride at the same time. The way they overlap the form a single subject of sorts, but none is paying attention to the other. Colorful shirts, environmental background all work well. I appreciate the fact that you seem to enjoy trying different effects. In my opinion, I don't think this one enhances the image. You said you masked the workmen, but I see evidence of masking overflow on and around their legs and feet. Also, the worker on the right has an odd "smudge" on his right hip. |

Lovely model. The lighting is well done. I like that we can see some of the detail in her beautiful dress without any of the white being blown out. The background is pleasant except on the right where the white areas are distracting for me. Easy fix. |

The longer I studied this image, the more visible the angel was for me. I think the time you have spent on this was well worth it. The overall image is both puzzling and intriguing. You have done well with the bw tones. It is a little dark overall, but I like that for this image. I like that we can see the details in each building. The leading lines work extremely well. I especially like the bright white line on the right hand side of the central building. It helps to balance the lighting. |
