I agree that you chose a good sky replacement for this. However, the water is not picking up any of the golden tones and so it looks like two separate photos to me. You could remove some of the gold tones from the sky, or use a mask to better blend the water and sky colors. They do not of course need to be the same, but there needs to be some "connection" between the two of them. |

So far it is unanimous. I prefer the lizard alone. The lovebugs need to be sharper (difficult when they are in motion) and closer to the lizard. Still a great shot of the lizard in the flowers. Could be either vertical or horizontal crop. |

Judy I always enjoy your creativity and willingness to try something different. This image has great leading lines, but when I look at the subject, I am disappointed. I hope you will not be offended when I say that it just does not work for me. |

I like your composition here. It gives me an overview of the scene. One little "nitpick", I would remove the vertical object at the horizon, to the right of the lighthouse. I agree the lighthouse could be sharper. Beautiful colors in the image, but they all have the same luminosity. I would try using some gradients or other means to change that. For instance, remove some of the saturation in the greens of the foreground. You could also crop to remove some of the foreground greens, still leaving the rocks. Lots to play with here. |

This is a great action shot! The position of the paddlers, all in unison, the splash of the water, they all show the strength and power that is put into this team activity. Best of all, for me, is that the drummer is so engaged as well! The image is fine as it is, but I do have a crop suggestion that will place more visual emphasis on the drummer. I used a radial gradient in LR to draw more light and therefore more attention to the drummer. I also reduced the saturation on the water. Also, to bring more attention to the subject. I would keep the flag as it is part of the story of the race. |
