Jody, thank you for your comments. The images were taken at roughly the same time. I would take an image, then take a step or two to the side, take another shot, repeat. |

Stephen,
Thank you for your comments. I do like what you have done. In person, the building is quite eye catching, especially with the extended right hand section. It did not look as if it could stand until you moved around and could see the rest of that building wing. Because it did not look "real" in person, so I was not concerned that the building looked entirely "real" in my image. |

This is definitely a winner, Judy! I love the position of the frond. You captured lots of detail. The background is absolutely spot on! I love Topaz for it's filters. |

What a fascinating history and place to photograph. Thank you for sharing that. I agree that the lighting is flat. I agree with the others about working on that. I hope you took lots of photos while you were there! |

A beautiful mountain scene. I wonder if you could add a small amount of canvas to the bottom? The cabin appears a little too close to the edge. I wish the foggy mist on the right was not there. Not sure there is anything you can do about it. |

Your comment about the right hand side looking more like a wall rather than a corner is correct. That is the way it looked to me in person and what I found especially fascinating about this building. |

I debated whether to suggest removing the left or right. I think I now agree with your version. |

My apologies for not being more clear. The lighthouse is your primary subject, with the walkway providing leading lines. The lighthouse, however is not in sharp focus. Your focus point appears to be the near boards on the walkway. I think I'm going to take back what I said about Punch (contrast, brightness). I was thinking more about the clouds and the water, but too much there would conflict with the light house and leading lines. |

I found this to be a very compelling image due to the strong lines directing us to the lighthouse. It does feel a little soft, so if you could, I would run it through an AI program to resolve that. Also, I'd like to see a little more "punch". |

Walter you did a great job catching the exploding fireworks at their best. I find my eyes "bouncing" back and forth between the wheel on the right, an the blue structure on the left. I think I would prefer it if you cropped the wheel out of the image. The fireworks seem to be facing left and so I would keep the structure on that side. |
