This is a charming keepsake photo. I like that it is in bw. I agree it would be better if your grandson's face was angled a little more towards the camera, but you can still see how happy and how excited he was presenting the ring. I would mask out the couple and blur the background just slightly more to place more emphasis on the couple. Well done grandpa!

I found this to be an interesting composite. I agree with removing the sunburst, but would definitely keep the "danger" sign. Overall it looks ominous and "dangerous". |

Judy, I find this to be an amusing capture! The flagger's expression and body position is great. The fact the stop sign is tilted at an odd angle, adds to the story. I wonder if you could blur or desaturate the house. I thought about suggesting you crop the right side so that the house is out of the photo, but because that would also remove the cone on the right, I don't think it would work. A fun shot! Have camera and be there!

Bill, I think you captured this very well. I like your composition. The colors are great, the clouds in the sky add to the overall image. I feel as if I am getting ready to board this beautiful boat and to go off on an adventure!

I enjoy this image very much. I find it interesting that the woman is sitting in front of all of these books (knowledge) while looking at her cell phone which probably gives her access to incredibly more information. I do like the bw, but on closer examination the image has a lot of noise. I think running it through a DeNoise or other program would be a great improvement in this area. Finally, just to the right of her there appears to be a see through opening in the bookshelves. I wonder if there is something you can do to disguise it. Perhaps cloning in some other shelves?? |
