I would guess that the gold tones are a result of the lighting in the building. Normally I would suggest adjusting your white balance, but in this case it works perfectly. |

Love the color tones you used for this image. Leonid's version with the blurred background works well. Lighting and backgrounds are always a challenge in the auto museums I have been to, but also a great place to photograph. |

Thank you Jon. Although a small part of the composition, I did intentionally include the people.

That works, too! I do like the tighter crop. I know people like the left-to-right view, for me it doesn't matter.

I think your composition is well done. It feels to me like the water is too green, but that may be because I am accustomed to a different ocean. Some of your whites are blown out. Perhaps adjusting them ever so slightly, would remedy that. I definitely feel some of the power of the ocean in this image.

Good capture of this little sparrow in his habitat. I especially like his position on the twig. I understand why you chose to keep the space on the left, but I would prefer a closer crop. With a closer crop we have a better view of the sparrow and enough environment as well. Just one person's opinion. |

This is a beautiful portrait of a woman at work. It definitely works well in bw. As far as the wire basket, it doesn't bother me. I don't have any suggestions. |

Thank you for the detailed description of how you processed this image. The details, the color, the lighting are all well done. I feel as if I could actually touch the flower bud. The only suggestion I might make would be to add a little canvas to the right side of the image. Since the flower is facing the right, it feels crowded on that side. If you liked, you could remove some canvas from the left. I'm sure you could still work it out to maintain the square canvas. |
