Yes. After I had posted it I saw what you are talking about regarding the over processing. Thanks!

I think the title says, you enjoyed getting outside and finding something lovely, instead of staying inside, worrying about life. It works for me.

Jody, I like what you have done. As for the lensbaby 56, I've had it for about a year, but have not used it much. It takes some practice, but I think it is worth it and will continue to work with it.

What a wonderful effect! It is sharp where it needs to be sharp, the texture enhances the photo. I think this is probably my favorite of all your flower images! Thank you also for explaining how you did it.

I agree with Jon's comment about the colors. Also, I like that the texture of the wall (complcete with cracks) and the stones contrast with a seemingly modern new bike.

Thanks Jon. I wasn't sure about the leaves, so will try your suggestion. |

Great image! I do like your choice of vertical crop. As Tom said, not much more to say or to suggest. I do like Robert's version as well. |

I am drawn to old cemeteries also. I wonder about the people, their lives, history. Did you walk around and take photos from different angles? The way we see the gravestones in this image, it feels as if there is a big gap in the middle. While the fence is interesting, it sort of "locks" the viewer out of the story here. BW is an excellent choice of treatment for the image. |

We don't have many magnolia trees here, but they are beautiful. The flower feels crowded on the right and so I tried a different crop, keeping your same crop ratio. I also did some minor clean up of defects in the flower itself, gently increased the exposure and hilites on the flower and stamen area. Key word there: gently. Beautiful flower, thanks for sharing it. |

I agree this is well done. I especially like the background for this image. Sometimes I try a digital frame (Topaz) to see how it would look matted and framed. I like it. |
