30 Sep 21 Comment Based on the above comments I reworked the image. Is this better? Thanks! Sep 10th
30 Sep 21 Comment Interesting idea. I wonder if you have considered changing the crop (off left and off right) to make a vertical image? I think it would more effectively use the bridge/ road to draw us into and through the image. Sep 7th
30 Sep 21 Comment In addition to Jody's crop, I would suggest cropping from the bottom just enough to eliminate the large rock at the bottom. Then I would like to see a little more light on the 3 people. They are the story and need attention brought to them. Sep 7th
30 Sep 21 Comment As usual you are always willing to experiment and to put a lot of work into your images. That is how we learn. Unfortunately, for me, this one doesn't work. The background texture distracts me from the subject horse. The position of the horse's head is very good, but there are some processing artifacts around his ears and neck which also need to be removed. Sep 4th
30 Sep 21 Comment Great fun to photograph horses at the track. We have gone a couple of times to one not far from us. I think you did an excellent job with this. I noticed you removed a couple of power lines in the background. There is still part of one pole over the head of number 6 jockey on the left. Easy fix. Sep 4th
30 Sep 21 Reply Robert, did you read about the specialized tractors that were designed for these hills? They are what made it possible to farm successfully in the Palouse. Sep 4th
30 Sep 21 Comment Thank you for the kind words regarding this image. I completely agree with Jody's crop and adjustments and will incorporate those in my image. Sep 4th

42 Sep 21 Comment Thanks for the explanation about the bees. We have a lot of hostas and I had never noticed this. Your image tells the story well. I agree, some hotspots could be dealt with. I, too, assumed the small spots are pollen. They don't bother me in this image. The background is excellent, position of the bee and flower very pleasing as well.
