Thank you Jessica. As far as the wire, I did want it brighter and sharper than the tree. Thanks for noticing.

I like your concept of the window-thru-the-window. I have just a couple suggestions. First I would crop out the rest of the blurry blue foreground. Then I would also consider cropping out the beams at the top as well. Finally, the roof that we see through the window is a little bright. I would darken it slightly. |

I think you are right, Judy, about cropping out most of the sky and removing the red flag (windsock). I was trying to keep the radio tower in the image, but realize now, it is better without it. I was uncertain about the red sock as well.

Jon, you got a chuckle out of me on that one! Isn't that what photographers do? Miss the obvious and settle on the mundane? If my image got you to create a story in your mind, then I think it was successful.

You always seem to come up with interesting ideas and this is one of those. I think you did a good job selecting an interesting piece of grass. For me, for this to be completely successful, the grass needs to be tack sharp, which it is not, probably due to all the cropping and processing. |

This is a charming image of your grandson. I think the background works well. I cannot tell what language the is in, but it needs to be larger so that it is readable to the viewer to enjoy. I think the overall concept is quite good. |

I like the position of the tulips and I think the lighting turned out quite well both on the flowers and on the greenery. Since this is a composite, I would be interested in seeing different background colors, perhaps one that complements the green/yellow more. Or try adding a sky or???? Just some thoughts. I'm heading off to some tulip fields in Oregon in a couple of weeks. My first real outing.

Very nice position of the birds at their nest with all the greenery. I wonder if you could add a little soft light to the birds? I think that would draw our attention to them more as you eye is drawn first to light/ bright subjects. |
