I hadn't thought of that Jessica, but it would make an interesting image. |

I think it is just for fun. Leonid was letting his imagination fly! Great time to practice these things.

Judy, I did try flipping it in all directions but prefer the original. It is the sort of image where it would just be a matter of personal preference as to which direction it is presented. |

This is very nicely placed, forming a pleasing composition. I would certainly use it on a holiday card or other decoration. If you like, you can add various backgrounds. Keep working with the light box. |

This is a very interesting abstract. I agree with cropping some from left and bottom of the image. In LR I reduced the "texture" and increased the "clarity". Then in Topaz I used AI to further decrease the noise. Also in Topaz I used a "Look" that added a yellow and blue tone to the image. Just an idea. I would continue to play around with colors and effects and see what you like best. |

At the moment, my favorite way is to use the PS patch tool. I just circle the item I need to remove, then move the duplicate patch it creates to what I want to copy. Pretty simple. As with any cloning, I always watch for inadvertent duplicates it may pick up. |

What technique did you use to remove the birds? Perhaps someone would have a solution for you? Anyone?? |

Interesting about the usable shots, but makes sense to me. |

It's always interesting to try intentional camera movement, or intentional zooming. I think this one turned out well.

Beautiful sunrise photo. I think I would consider cropping off the left to just include the bird over the water (the one that Leonid cropped out). Then I would remove a few of the birds that intersect with the top of the frame. Over all I think they remaining birds add interest.

I can imagine how much work this involved. It is much beyond my own abilities and I applaud how much work and imagination was involved. The image definitely drew my immediate attention. I like the fact that although different colors are present, each object is a solid color. I think if the cup, pot or table had a pattern, that would distract. After looking at it several times, I think I would like it better if the cup were a little smaller. It feels too big in relation to the coffee pot (I think it is a coffee pot not tea, due to it's shape) and the table. |

40 shot focus stack! Wow! Well done! I'm often attracted to flowers that are past their prime, as this one is. You did a great job with the composition. I like that the stem is behind the flower (not next to it) so that the flower appears to lean towards the viewer. The blemishes in the flower add interest. One of your best works in my opinion. Also I enjoyed a good chuckle when you described all the equipment!

I was going to reply to you that the actual colors vary on the flower as they open up. I see what you were saying, but some variation makes it more natural. |

Anne, I'm visiting from Group 30. I was very taken by your image. I enjoy the fact you have a minimalist subject, with just enough texture in the building as well as the clouds/fog in the sky, to hold the viewer's attention. The single window, seals the deal! I agree that this image would work exceedingly well with text added upper right, but I also enjoy it just as it is. Very peaceful to enjoy. |
