I think this is an interesting image also. Add the top, as Karen did and slight straightening as Beverly suggested. Small changes that will make a big difference. The silhouetted figures make this image!

Judy, I love this image as well. You should submit images to your local fair. We've been participating in ours for several years (of course, this one includes the NWIEP/ PSA salon). Bob and I have had the privilege of judging at a couple of the local fairs as well. |

Thanks everyone with your help with this image. I'm showing my most recent version with just some of the bench removed. I think I like this best. |

Judy, I was referring to 2 white dots on her foot. |

I'll try that. Thanks for the suggestion. I think I like it better with the bench, too.

I'm not highly skilled with PS and cloning, but took Judy's suggestion and removed the bench. Hopefully it doesn't look too bad? |

I love the way the lines in the tunnel direct the viewer's eye to the entrance. A couple of suggestions. First, it looks like there is a wet spot in the gravel or aggregate in the tunnel. I would clone it so that it matches the rest of the tunnel. Second, not sure if it is a light fixture (?) in the upper right. I would remove that as well. You have to make do with what is there, but in my mind I can "see" a small child with a bright umbrella walking just outside the tunnel. :-) |

Love the expression on the biker's face. I like the image as is with one exception: to further increase the tension of the moment, I would crop closer on both left and right so that you primarily have the lead biker and those following him. You would still have some background setting, but our complete attention would then be focused on the eventers. |

Nice piece of journalism. Given that you had to make a quick shot from the car, very well done. I'm amazed you got the entire statue in! If you had been on foot, I would agree with Tom's suggestions. |

Very well done, Judy. Just a tiny bit of specular hilight showing lower right. Perhaps you could remove that. |

I am familiar with these, common name is Oregon Grape. The colors are lovely and I am glad you included both green and blue. The leaf on the lower right adds to the image. I would agree about the reddish brown in the upper left. Maybe just darken it so it does not show. The center of the image appears a little soft to me. It would be helpful if it was a little sharper. Very nice subject.

I think this has a wonderful viewpoint. I have not been there, but for me, the color is off. I would reduce the saturation and adjust the WB. I can understand you may want to emphasize the building and roof colors, but as it is, it does not work well for me. Another suggestion would be to remove about half of the sky. The clouds are showing signs of over processing, and are not adding to the composition. Cropping from the top will draw more attention to the multiple bridges. |

Robert and Tom, until you mentioned it, I had not noticed the lack of separation. Thank you for your observations. I have a couple other versions, I'll look through those to see if one is better than this in that regard.

Stuart, As others have said, a lovely image. Have you considered cropping some off the bottom.... just below the rocks? Just a suggestion. :-) |
