That works for me. In the original my eyes were immediately drawn to the grasses rather than the slats. |

Good conversation about this image. My comments will be more subjective than technical. The distortion in the bend of the creek does not bother me, I actually like it, but I do feel like the grass/ tree line does run downhill on the right. It always helps to have distinctive foreground in this type of image, but I wish there was only one bush in the center front. Can you fill in so there is only one, or clone one out? I also like Judy's version with just the tree line. |

For me this is a very pleasing image. It has good leading lines. I like the reflection of the buildings on the right as well. I could go either way regarding a closer crop along the top. I think in this case I would prefer it left as is as it makes for a very peaceful scene. I had to look up the town as I was not familiar with the area. |

Beautiful bell, with beautiful patterns on it. I, too, thought it looked like a world map. My only suggestion is that I find the background distracting. It does have some blur to it, but purhaps, desaturating the background slightly, would make a difference. |

I appreciate everyone's comments on this. The over all flower is globe shaped, with these tiny flowers all around. I have versions similar to what Robert suggested. I just thought this one was a little different. So it is helpful to me, that the general consensus so far is that, that is not a pleasing version. I thought I had some stamens in focus, but perhaps not. I'll review the others I have to see if one is better. Thank you for your help with this. That is why I like this group! |

Thanks for the opportunity for us to try our own interpretation of this image. I'm not sure I see a great photo here, but I do like Robert's red seat. Have you thought of bw? Here is my version, bw, increasing the contrast and cropping. I do wish there was more room at the front of the bike as no matter how you crop it, the bike feels too crowded on the left in my opinion. |

I like what Judy did to remove the distractions of the grass under the chair. Beautiful colors. I find both the diagonal lines and the water droplets to be appealing. I can see this grouped with other beach images. |

I definitely like the natural expression on her face as she looks up. I agree with Judy about some of the changes she suggested, but I would not crop quite as severely. I cleaned up a couple of small things in PS, e.g. removed a stray hair from her forehead, that sort of thing. Then I took it into OnOne Portrait where I added a little more detail and brightness to the eyes, whitened the teeth very slightly, removed some shine off her forehead. My example is attached. I also added a slight vignette and removed the white line in the background. |
