Bev, I don't think cloning is the way to go as it seems to blur the woman's face and her expression. It needs to be a local adjustment, not a global one. I know how to go about correcting it in Lightroom, but not in Photoshop but Victor has a solution in his comment. I do like the photo a lot. |

I love photos of kids having fun. What a wonderful idea to have soap bubbles for them to play in. There are a couple things that bother me tho. One is the brightness around the head of the man in the green tshirt and the little Black girl behind the girl in the red shirt. I am sure it was the backlighting doing it but it looks almost like it was sharpened too much. The other thing is the 2 white splotches on the Black girls' faces. I am sure it is soap suds but it looks like someone painted their faces with bright white paint and it distracts from the rest of the photo. Not certain how to correct that. Otherwise great story and wonderful photo. |

Thanks for your suggestions Victor. I think the lessening of the brightness where you said is a good idea. I noticed after I got home and put the photos on the computer that I had cut off the man's foot, and that annoyed me. But of course by then it was too late to retake the shot. |

Cell phones certainly do abound everywhere and everyone seems to have the same fascination with them. I like this photo. You have to wonder what they all are looking at so intently. The only correction I would make would be to dim the highlights on the woman's arm and face, and dim the white piece on the right corner (her purse?). Good capture, good story. |

I really like the places where musicians gather to play just for the fun of it. I can almost hear the music. This is a great photo, and I love the expressions on their faces. It is a shame the chair is in the right corner but it doesn't detract from the story. I did find it a bit bright so took it into LR and decreased the highlights, added just a little dehaze and clarity, and increased the vibrance a small amount. I think it makes the musicians stand out from the background better. |

This is a great photo. I love the colors and the subject is so interesting. I agree that the black on the man's costume could be darker, but not so dark as the original. The only thing that bothers me a bit is the bright white bench on the man's right. My eye keeps being drawn to it. If it could be dimmed a bit I think it would be better, but that may be just a niggling point. |
