Nice portraits. Not necessarily street photography tho. It looks as tho it may have been a family all working together in the fields-Grandma, Mother, and Daughter. |

Thanks everyone. I love taking photos of people at fairs and carnivals, especially the vendors as they are usually so interesting and this man didn't disappoint. |

I like the bright colors of the woman's clothing, really stands out against the muted background. I have often been envious of people who can paint a scene so love watching them. I do wish the face of the second girl could be seen, but I don't know how you could have gotten it unless you wanted to jump in the water. Like the story this photo tells too. |

Welcome Mo! This is a great photo, showing the softer side of a guy that looks tough. In my experience, many bikers with the same tough look are really very nice people, and I am sure that many of them like ice cream too. I like the black and white better tho, less distraction from the colors. |

It is a lovely park and looks very inviting to walk or just sit and read. I too think the woman had been sitting there reading and just felt the need to stretch. I know the park is on a hill, and I have been trying to visualize walking up a hill how the background trees would look. I don't think I see them leaning at an angle as I do in your photo. The trees in the foreground are straight as you said, but the ones behind the shelter and the shelter itself seem too tilted to me. So I guess my vote would be for the straightening that Victor did which still leads my eye up the path. |

What a great story in this photo! So many questions to be answered. Whoever the two people are, they are definitely studiously ignoring each other. The woman seems to me that she is definitely thinking about something that displeases her, and the man is pretending he doesn't see her. I agree with Victor about the man's hair blending into the background and the loss of detail in the clothing, but otherwise a great picture. |

I think I prefer the color image as I think it shows up the shadows better as there is more contrast with the colors than with the b&w only. I think the shadows more than the woman and the dog are the real subjects here so I would leave them alone. The circular sign at the top left does bother me a bit, but I am not certain how I would correct it. Cropping it out boxes the woman in too tightly imho. A very interesting image. |
