I like the story this photo tells. It has so many questions for me-Is the man asking for directions?, is he buying something for his wife/girlfriend?, why is he holding his phone?, and why is he holding his left hand behind his back?. So hard to read expressions with masks. This photo makes you think about the possibilities of why he is at this shop. No suggestions to make it better. |

I like the story. Renaisance Fairs are so much fun, and I can see why the character is taking a break. I would however crop out the fence behind him and desaturate a bit to make a stronger photo. |

I love folk festivals and can always get interesting photos from them. I love the image of the fiddler as he is concentrating on his music. It is very sharp in all details, but the bright white behind him does distract me. I have tried in photoshop and lightroom but cannot tone down the blown out highlights. Victor's image does but it lacks some of the vibrancy you saw in the original image. I also saw the webinar and enjoyed it immensely. It doesn't have to be a photo to be in a composition, just a slice of life. |

I like the photo very much. You caught the moment perfectly. I cannot decide about the wires, there are merits both ways. I think personally I would remove them. But the only other suggestion I would make would be to remove the No Dogs Allowed sign. People's eyes generally are drawn to lettering, and the sign has no bearing on the story of the photo. |

I love the expressions on the 2 faces (woman and boy) and you definitely have caught the feeling of someone not used to horses (I am sure I have had that expression on my face at times when my daughter's horse thought I had a carrot for him). The two figures behind the horse bother me a bit, but as you say in street photography you take what is there at the moment. I think Victor's comments are valid and like the slight improvements he made. Nice story.

Such a a great image. I can almost feel the surprise and annoyance of the girl whose sushi is being eaten. Brings a smile to my face seeing it. I like the crop, but agree that the girl on the left needs to be lightened up a bit. I like Victor's take on it. |
