Beverly I have used it but sometimes when the background is very busy it isn't easy to remove an object and make it look seamless. It did a good job this time tho and I like the photo much better without them. |

I like the shot of the basilica. Have never been but would love to someday. I like the lines leading to it and the people walking in the direction of it. I think the colors could be a bit less saturated just to tone them down some. I can see the haze but it doesn't bother me. It would be nice it the people looking away were somehow turned around or removed in PS somehow which would be difficult I imagine due to the background. But that said, that is the way they were and you had to take the shot that way. |

I like this shot and the expression on the girl's face. And the lines in the pavement draw my eye right to her. I also agree with Beverly's crop leaving in the photographer. Altho I might crop it just a bit more off the top (a minor nit) just to make it a bit more of the subject instead of the surroundings. Good story.

Thanks for all of your comments. I think too I like the B&W better. But I love the brightness the pink and yellow add to the mood too. For Ed I hope this full image comes thru as he wanted to see the original. |

I like the story here as well and for the limitations you had thru the bus window, you did a good job. I think it does show the way things are in Costa Rica and would do well in a book showing it with the suggestions already given to you. That said as a stand alone photo, it doesn't convey much to me other than a mass of belongings being moved any way possible. |

It's a good story, all alone in the library with something engrossing to read. Unfortunately the first thing I focus on is not the man but the table directly in front of the camera. I think I would have cropped this a lot tighter to focus in on the man as he is the object of the story. I do like the black and white better, but it seems a bit dark to me. Perhaps a bit brighter and a little contrast would open it up. |

I like this image a lot and think the B&W version is much better than the color. All the lines lead to the boy-the pavement, the store corner, the pigeons and even the family members standing in an arc that leads to the boy. I agree with Victor in brightening the image a bit and giving the pavement more contrast. Nicely done. |
