I also like the black and white better. The canvas does seem to be the main focus to my eye, and then my eye travels to the person having her portrait drawn. Don't know how to correct that but it isn't so prominent in the B&W. She doesn't seem to be too happy to have someone drawing her, altho he has put a smile on her face in the drawing. Good seeing. |

Love the shot. I wonder if they knew each other and bought the same boots on purpose it they did it randomly. Either way is is a great shot. |

Welcome to the group Carol. I love the story of this image. It seems to me this is probably not the first time that he has posed like this. I think a vignette would have helped to focus the image on the boy and statue, but that I think is a minor flaw=nitpicking really. |

I also like this image. I love the fact that the 2 men are almost (but not really) mirror image back to back. I like the motion and the colors brought out by the moving train. And I agree with Carol that the green light adds to the mood of the photo. |
